Short term health insurance is temporary medical plans designed for people who:

• Are between jobs and waiting to be covered under their new employers plan

• College graduates coming off their parents policy and waiting to be covered under a group insurance plan

• Seniors citizens retired no longer covered under their employers plan and need temporary health insurance until they are covered under Medicare

• Do not qualify for individual health insurance or COBRA
